A short up-to-date prayer list!

Session News

1) On November 1 our oldest member, Mr. Henderson Thomas, was mercifully called home by our Lord after a long period of severe physical illness.  On November 9, Mr. Warren officiated at his graveside service. Following that we enjoyed fellowship around a very good luncheon arranged by Mrs. Arlene Rendon at the Rendon home.

2) On October 17, our newest member, Mr. Guy Denton, was publicly received and baptized as a communicant member.  We warmly welcome Guy into our church.  We are all encouraged to see God's continual working in our congregation by His Spirit.

3) We have ordered 35 new red Trinity Hymnals so that every pew will be supplied with the new hymnals.  We have removed from our pews the red paper-back Trinity Psalters because the new hymnals already contain almost all of the Psalms that are in the books being removed.  The new hymnals include the various creeds which we use, so that the creeds will not need to be printed as extra inserts in our bulletins.

4) On Sunday, November 21, following our fellowship lunch, instead of our usual second worship service, we enjoyed an informal opportunity for individual public expression of thanks for God's blessing during the year.

5) On Sunday November 28, we were treated to a Korean fellowship lunch hosted by the Trinity Korean Presbyterian congregation who also use our facilities.

1) Continue to remember Jeannie Hughes and her need for long-lasting relief from her chronic back pain; also remember David Hughes' mother who is recovering from a recent stroke.

2) Please remember to pray for family members of our church members who are not yet believers.  Also look for opportunities to meet them and show hospitality to them

3) Please pray for our monthly Scripture Recital time which is held every first Sunday of the month at 10 am.  It will now be led by Elder James Shank

4) The next Session Meeting will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2010, at 6 pm. at Grace Church.

5) Remember to pray for Matthew Thomas for God's comfort in the loss of his father, and also as Matt looks for work.
